You then fill in your details and pay by card: confirmation reaches you by email straight away, with your booking reference.

A full week — 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday — costs €350 for the swim booked. Last-minute stays are charged at €50 per night. The exact price of your trip, including any extras, is shown in the summary before you pay.

No. At the payment step you choose between the 30% deposit — which secures your booking — and paying for the whole stay. Any balance is then settled on site when you arrive.

Payments are secured by Stripe: your card details never pass through this website.

Weeks run from Saturday to Saturday, which means 7 nights on the bank. This fixed changeover lets every team find the lake rested and settle in without crossing paths with the anglers leaving.

Exact arrival and departure times, together with the gate code, are sent to you once your booking is confirmed.

Yes, with the Last minute option: 2 to 7 nights, bookable within 30 days of your arrival date, on the slots still free. Outside that window, stays are booked as full weeks, Saturday to Saturday.

The 10.5-hectare (26-acre) gravel pit has only 6 swims: 2 double swims and 4 single swims, which means 8 anglers at most on the whole lake each week. That keeps space, peace and angling pressure under control for everyone. Every swim is described on the swims page.

Yes, in the two double swims — swims 1 and 6 — which are set up for two anglers. The other four are single swims. Each swim's capacity is shown in the availability grid, and the second angler's name is asked for when you book.

Yes. Alongside the individual swims, the grid offers the whole lake for up to 8 anglers: the ideal option for a team or a group of friends who want the water to themselves. Select "Whole lake" in the availability grid, or contact us to plan your trip.

The fishery is at Brienne-la-Vieille (10500), in the Aube département in the Champagne region of France, around thirty minutes from the main motorways. The track running around the lake serves every swim: you drive to yours and park on your own pitch.

The site is fully fenced and closed by a coded gate; the code is sent to you once your booking is confirmed.

Every swim comes with a weigh bar, an unhooking mat, two slings and an inflatable cradle for photographs in the water. Carp care treatment and disinfectant are provided too: treating every fish is compulsory.

You bring your own tackle and camp (bivvy, bedchair, rods, bait).

Yes: there is a sanitary block with showers and toilets, plus a lodge with mains power to charge batteries, phones and accessories.

Guests and visitors are welcome subject to our prior agreement: mention them in the message field when you book. Under-18s remain under the responsibility of an adult, and dogs are allowed provided they are kept on a lead.

Fishing is strictly catch and release: every fish goes back with the greatest care. Three rods maximum per angler, barbless or crushed-barb hooks, unhooking mat compulsory, keepnets banned. The full rules are on the lake rules page, to be read before you come.

Yes, bait boats are allowed. A boat is also available on site to drop your rigs and reach the far areas of your swim.

The fish stock holds commons and mirrors as well as the sought-after oddities — fully scaled, linears, koi and ghost carp — with specimens up to 37.5 kg (82 lb). The natural larder of the gravel pit (bloodworm, freshwater clams, crayfish) drives fast growth and fish in prime condition.
